Shatter the Silence™
Benefit CD Project

This year, Take Back The Night has boldly endeavored to produce our first CD of original music designed to inspire and empower millions affected by sexual violence.

We hope to come together with many like-minded individuals to compile an unrivaled collection of songs and artwork titled Shatter the Silence.  Each piece will be an original created by talented artists who seek to be a part of something larger than themselves—a national movement to end the violence for men, women and children alike.  We are accepting all types of music and artwork.  Submissions must include one of the following themes:  healing, support for survivors, empowerment and/or ending sexual violence in any form.

This project provides two opportunities for you to give:

• The Music - We aim to collect 12 original songs for production.
• The Art - We will collect 8 original art works to be featured within the CD jacket and for print on tee shirts. 

Because we would like to maximize our charitable efforts, the owners of all intellectual property must be willing to donate it to the Take Back The Night Foundation.

Anyone who is so inspired may submit a song or art work for consideration.  

The deadline for art work and song submissions is January 31, 2011. All art work must be submitted as a high resolution jpeg or gif file.  All music must be submitted as a high quality audio file.
