Should we form a Chapter or an Affiliate Chapter?
Most Affiliate Chapters have existing sexual violence prevention clubs or organizations in their school, university, and/or community. TBTN respects the history of this commitment and welcomes your energy and effort to be supported by our international Foundation. This easy step provides your organization with resources and global opportunities to support your mission with more impact while maintaining your club name and existing affiliations. See the difference in benefits for Event Holders, Affiliate Chapters, and Chapters here.
Does my Chapter need to be affiliated with a school, university, or other institution?
Yes, Chapters and Affiliate Chapters must be affiliated with an existing entity (such as a school, university, military base, city government, etc.). If you are not affiliated with an existing entity, contact us here to learn more about potential exemptions.
