This year, we are excited to be holding our fourth nationwide Shine Your Light Yoga Festival on December 12, 2020! This event will bring together yogis across the US as studios and fitness centers host a trauma-informed class to support survivors of sexual violence. Over a hundred locations in all 50 states are already confirmed to participate. We will also be live streaming eight classes over our virtual platform throughout the day to accommodate up to 8,000 more participants.

The need could not be more urgent. The United Nations Population Fund estimates that there has been a roughly 20% rise in intimate partner violence alone around the world since the start of the COVID-19 shelter-in-place orders. That amounts to 15 million additional cases in the span of just several months.
