Gifts of stock and other financial vehicles to TBTN builds our long-term ability to sustain our staff and our mission. By donating stocks, bonds, and/or mutual funds to TBTN, you can deduct the total current value of these securities and avoid paying capital gains taxes on the appreciated value of these assets. By donating these securities directly to TBTN you avoid the lost value when you might otherwise sell them and incur taxes and other expenses.
